My mother taught me to sew and knit when I was six years old (and more recently  crochet). I had a red toy sewing machine that really worked and I made clothes for my dolls. Later, I made clothes for myself and my family. I love discovering vintage and recycled fabric and transforming them in to bags, purses and soft toys.
